South Shore Festival is bringing laid-back, rootsy vibes to The Masque Theatre, Muizenberg, this weekend, with two nights of incredible local music on 1 and 2 May. It’s all about celebrating the Deep South’s talent, with 14 bands and solo artists taking the stage to perform a mix of original tracks and well-loved covers that pay tribute to South Africa’s musical greats.
The lineup is packed, featuring names like Robin Auld, Tripolee, and Glen Wolter & The Porchlights, while Saturday keeps things going with artists like John Ellis, Rosie Bruce Band, and Jamie Jupiter & The Streaky Beats, ending in a fun all-in jam session.
